{shopping the website}
please choose the items you would like to purchase and add them to your shopping cart. follow the steps given at check out. we accept visa & mastercard.
if you have a discount code or gift card, enter code in the boxes provided at check out.

if you are ordering a custom item – add the item(s) you wish to your cart, and at checkout include the requested information (which would be indicated in the details under the item’s picture) in the comments box.
please make sure to include your phone number & email address, in case we have any questions.
{order processing}
all regular orders are processed and shipped within 3 to 4 business days.
please note:
*orders placed on weekends will be processed the following business day.
(for example, if order is placed on a saturday or sunday, order will be processed on monday; if monday is a holiday, order will be processed on tuesday.)
*orders placed on friday after 5 pm will be processed on the following business day.
we are not responsible for service transit time. transit times are provided by carriers (UPS or USPS). all domestic orders are shipped via UPS, so that there is a tracking number. see “shipping” information below for more details.
custom order processing: you will receive an email from us letting you know that your order has been received. we will confirm the design with you before it is made, and give you an estimated time of arrival at that time.
{sales tax}
madison belle is currently based out of the beautiful state of maryland!
all items shipped within the state of maryland will be required to pay 6% sales tax.
shipments to addresses outside of maryland are not charged sales tax.
local purchases for pick up or hand-delivery will also be charged 6% sales tax.
event design or design consulting that has been contracted out will not be charged sales tax.
{privacy policy & credit card security}
shopping at madison belle is safe & secure. we do not give away any personal information that you offer during your visit. personal information provided is only to be used for the services requested and will be kept strictly confidential.
the checkout process utilizes secure socket layer (ssl) technology, to insure your information is safe. at checkout there will be an “s” for “secure” at the top of the page in the url section. (https://) this is your indicator that the encryption technology is working, and that your credit card information is safe. additionally, the top right hand corner will also say "secure socket layer (ssl) technology."
if you do not feel comfortable making your purchase with a credit card online, please contact us via email at info@shopmadisonbelle.com
and include your order information, your address, and a phone number where you can be reached. we will contact you and process your order over the phone. checks are also accepted but the order will not go out until the check clears, and therefore may take longer for your order to get to you. contact us for more information.
{shipping}
madison belle ships all domestic orders using UPS, as noted above. we offer UPS and USPS for international shipping.
shipping costs are calculated upon checkout using a postal calculator based on weight and destination.
all orders are usually processed and shipped out within 3 to 4 business days. madison belle is not responsible for service transit time as they are provided by carrier (UPS) and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.
UPS provides a tracking number to track your package in transit. if you provide an email address at checkout, a tracking number will be emailed to you.
UPS requires a signature confirmation for the package delivery. if you do not wish for this signature confirmation, please note this in the "special requests" box at checkout, otherwise it will automatically be sent for signature confirmation at time of delivery. we recommend this way, so that the package is guaranteed to end up in your hands, as we are not liable once the package has left our site.
UPS does not ship to p.o. boxes. please include an alternate address for such a shipment.
{international shipping}
we now offer international shipping. please be advised that madison belle is not responsible for an international duties, taxes, and fees. any additional fees will be paid by the customer. this is not included in the shipping costs.
international shipping options: we offer USPS International Priority & International Express, as well as UPS Worldwide & Global Express. when you are ready to check out, pick your country from the drop down menu, and enter your zipcode. click on "add shipping" and you can choose any of the shipping options.
{returns & exchanges}
in the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, (which we hope is not the case!), please email us at info@shopmadisonbelle.com
for instructions on how to return or exchange your item.
all return or exchange notifications must be made within 10 days of receipt of your package. if the 10 day mark is missed, store credit may be issued up to 30 days from receipt of package, contact us for details.
merchandise to be returned should be in its original packaging, unused, and not altered in any way. after contacting us, you will receive a return authorization number which should be written on the original sales receipt and included in your package to be returned. please make a copy to keep for your records. additionally this email will include the proper address to mail the item back to.
when shipping the returned item back to us you may use any shipping option you like, but please make sure the item can not be damaged in transit.
please note that we do not cover shipping costs to send back a returned item. additionally, original shipping costs for the item are nonrefundable.
as soon as we receive your returned package in good condition we will process your refund. you will only be refunded the amount of the product or products being returned, not for the shipping. if you paid sales tax on your order you will be returned sales tax for the amount that you are returning. we will send a notification to you via email that the return authorization has been completed. you should see this charge back on your account within 5 business days.
for customers that will receive store credit (those customers that have missed the 10 day full refund mark), we will email you a gift card (or hardcopy in the mail if you prefer) verifying the amount of store credit that you have accumulated to use at a later date. there will be an expiration date on store credit marked clearly on your gift card (usually it lasts a year).
{damaged items}
please check your package as soon as it arrives and let us know immediately if something has arrived damaged.
{cancellations}
madison belle does not accept cancellation of orders for orders placed through our website.
{out of stock}
if something you purchase is out of stock or on back order we will contact you via email to let you know.
{declined card}
the security on credit card processing is extremely high and therefore may decline the purchase if something does not match up properly. if your card has been declined, make sure you have entered the correct billing information for your credit card. if your address does not match to the card, (for example, if you have recently changed addresses but have not changed your card's address) it will decline. a declined credit card purchase will show as pending but will go away quickly. if it does not clear after a few days, please contact us and let us know.
additionally, if you are having trouble using your card on our site, please let us know so we can help! (please note: we do not take amex at this time. if you use an amex credit card, the purchase will decline. we take visa & mastercard, or check.) see privacy policy & credit card security above for more information on this.
{gift purchases}
if an item is purchased to be given as a gift, please indicate that a gift receipt is needed in the "special requests" box at checkout. we will include a separate gift receipt in your package for you to give to the recipient. if you are shipping directly to the recipient, please let us know and we will include the gift receipt in the package.
items purchased as gifts have the same return policy as above. we are happy to work with the recipient of the gift item directly but can only work with them on an exchange or store credit. if the item is to be returned and money refunded back onto the credit card, (which means the recipient or the customer has notified us within 10 days of receipt of the package), then we will have to work directly with the original customer as it was their credit card that was used on the purchase, and we will need the customer's permission to charge the card back.
with exchanges, recipient can order something else from our shop or request store credit. in this case a gift card will be mailed to them. again, there will be a charge for shipping the new item out that we do not cover.
{flea market}
our "flea market" section will frequently change. items will be added and taken away at the discretion of madison belle, without letting the customers know. if you see something on our site that is no longer posted, please contact us to see if we have it or something similar.
each item in the “flea market” section is vintage and one of a kind. all sales are final on flea market items as they are well documented in the pictures and descriptions provided on our site. additionally there is an understanding that the product will have imperfections that give the item charm and the “vintage” feel that we so adore with items from the past. if you have any questions regarding an item, or if there is something that you would like us to find for you, please contact us at info@shopmadisonbelle.com

{large quantities of an item}
if you are looking to order a larger quantity of an item, whether it is custom, from our flea market section (i.e. 30 mason jars to use as centerpieces at your wedding), or items from the shop (10 pashminas for your bridal party)...please contact brooke at brooke@shopmadisonbelle.com
BEFORE ordering. pricing for large quantity orders is different than posted on the site, as there will be a discount given for these types of orders. after contacting us we can make sure we have the quantity you need in stock, give you an estimated time of arrival if that particular quantity is not already in, and we can give you a discount code to use on the site to place your order.
